Geneva Glen began as one of three leadership training and education centers under the sponsorship of the International Council of Churches. Since its first summer in 1922, the camp has provided consecutive and successful camping experiences for young people from all over the country.

A private, non-profit organization, Geneva Glen is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of camper parents, former staff, alumni and other individuals vitally interested in the camp's continued success. Now in its eighth decade, Geneva Glen has been served by only three pairs of directors and welcomes hundreds of second, third, fourth and even fifth generation campers each summer.

We are extremely proud of our camp's rich heritage of 85 years. Geneva Glen is unique among camps and derives its longevity and strength from the loyalty and support of thousands of alumni, staff, and camper families. It is our "camp family" that generates successful outcomes season after season by means of involved participation in our program and the camp's devoted, and all-volunteer Board of Directors. The "Spirit of the Glen" lives on not just in memory, but is revitalized year after year as fifth generation Geneva Glen'ers return to our council ring to sing "Geneva, our lives have been bettered by you."

Geneva Glen is a non-profit, private residential camp. It is interdenominational, and co-educational. Campers and staff come from all parts of the world. Rules for acceptance and participation in the program are the same for everyone without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex or disability.

Geneva Glen is a member of, and fully accredited by, the American Camp Association.
